Ready to hit the road and make some memories? The Road Trippers is our adult
group that plans fun outings, local adventures, and community events. Whether
it’s exploring a nearby town, checking out hidden gems, or just enjoying time
together, it’s all about connection, both with each other and with the community.
Come along for the ride!

We have an exciting lineup of places to visit in 2026. Details are still being finalized,
so please check back frequently for updates on dates, trip details and other
information.

Tuesday, May 12: Capitol Tour and WI Veteran Museum
Enjoy a day filled with exploration and history. We’ll meet at St. Martin’s upper
parking lot at 8:15 a.m. and drive to the Junction Road park-and-ride. From there,
we’ll hop on the metro bus and head to downtown Madison.

At the Square, we’ll embark on a free tour of the Capitol Building at 10:00 a.m. This tour will take about 45 to 50 minutes and will give us a glimpse into the architectural grandeur and history of the building.

After the tour, we’ll head to The Cooper’s Tavern, an Irish pub right on the Square, for lunch. We’ll enjoy a hearty meal and soak in the lively atmosphere of the pub.

Next, we’ll visit the Veterans Museum, which is also free (donations are welcome). We’ll spend about an hour exploring the museum and learning about the history of WI veterans.

After our visit to the museum, we’ll board another bus and return to the Junction Road park-and-ride. From there, we’ll drive back to Cross Plains, where we’ll conclude our day with a sense of accomplishment and a newfound appreciation for the rich history of Wisconsin.

June: Circus World Museum
July: Monarch Butterfly Fostering demonstration
August: 10 Chimneys
Sept: Dells Boat Tour & Apple Orchard
Oct: Mississippi River Museum

Learning doesn’t end after graduation! Each week after worship we gather to study scripture together. We focus on conversation and we aren’t afraid to ask deep questions of the text or of ourselves. Led by Pastor Maggie, we learn to faithfully and thoughtfully read scriptures in both the context they were written and in our present moment. Most importantly, we have fun and laugh together! No matter whether you are brand new to reading the Bible or if you are a devoted scholar of Hebrew and Greek, we welcome you in our discussion.

Bible Study takes place every Sunday after worship at 10:30 AM.
